But the thing is, the tokens work in a LOT of positive ways:

    - Increases the sinking of gil
    - Fights illegal RMT
    - Balances out the economy, transfering money from the rich to the poor
    - Brings previously economically inactive players to the market

Really, aside from the "waaaah mommy, I won't be a special snowflake anymore sniff" argument from the current 1%ers, I can't see a single negative impact of the introducing of tokens. And a bunch of positive ones.

There are at least 6 pages full of negative impacts implementing a system like this could have. You choosing to ignore them and restart the argument doesn't make them go away. With that, I'll be ending my participation in this thread as I don't feel like hopping on this discussion merry-go-round again.

Actually, the only argument you yourself brought to this discussion is the "I won't be a special snowflake if ppl buy their way into the economy with IRL money, it's unfair, mommy". Rephrased in a number of ways, but essentially this.

Most of them incorrect and predicated on a failure to understand how the system works and how the in-game economy works.

All things that can be fixed via not including RMT into the game and using other methods instead. This isn't a problem that can only be solved through an RMT system. You're using he nuclear option instead of more reasonable approaches.

Back to insults again? Still doesn't seem to be working for you.

I'm with Chrillix. Not going around for round 2. You're ignoring valid concerns around the board and refusing to even acknowledge the valid points made from the other side. (You literally won't respond to the good points and only pick the minor side points you think you can nit pick to talk about instead) Then you actually have the balls to act like no one gave you a single good reason. An argument with a wall would be more productive. You'd probably only be happy if you talked and we only listened and nodded.
