Pay to win TT

The start of the Tournament has started, and already it is being exploited. People shouting in local (gold saucer) that they will pay for a win. Went back today to check the board, and low and behold, the guy paying 100k per win is ranked 2nd on the board. I have sent in a repot, but i dont think anything will be done about it. The system needs to be changed. I dont know how, but i know it needs to be fixed.

I do not believe trading gil for someone to take a dive in TT violates any rules.
If it were trading real money, then there would certainly be an issue.

100K gil to lose at TT... Not worth it imo, some people have some really low standards on your server .

Win trading is completely unethical and I hope the people who topped boards with win trading don't get rewarded. How do you prove something like that though?

hehe reinvest it and end up buying a win for a premier card you can't get another way. Cheaper to pay than hope to be 1 of the top 3 players across your server population week in and out. The MGP reward will keep the ones who have the card continuing to go simply because of all the other MGP items to buy. Love the Saucer and don't really have an idea of how to solve it short of making Triad a game for enjoyment without a reward that has no other way to achieve it.

**NOTE ** I don't think it should be that way at all and am a little perturbed I played and lost but still ended up 11/15 or so and didn't even hit the top 20 in points (1600 or something) because of who I played and their rank not because I won or had significantly better cards. They just lost a number of times before I got to them.

Just the opposite on my server, people are shouting "Selling wins, gimmie gil and I loose for you!"

I just stand around playing the NPC's over and over for the points for a few mins a day. The tourny is so broken due to these issues that it's not really worth it to put actual effort into it.

Not sure how it would get adjusted, without taking the fun out of it. So it might just stay.
