I remember a dev posting something about not wanting to add anything else to the HUD because it could case lag. Well, to help those who lag I think they should add the ability to uncheck a quest and hide it from your HUD. I personally don't understand why it's not a thing already.
Honestly, I have never played a MMO where you're basically forced to see almost all of your quests on your HUD. Granted, you can turn off the quests tracker all together, but then you have to turn it on to level sync in FATES/check dungeon progress...

Square baffles me. They act like adding simple things like hiding a quest from a list on the screen and adding a right click to report Gil sellers are monumental undertakings.
If adding these simple QOL improvements is a big deal get better developers.
Ya know I really want to quote this for truth. I would love the quest tracker feature back, and for the devs to pull there heads out of there asses on the RMT spam. Really SE, the game has been out for over a year now. Why the hell can I not click a guys name in chat who is an RMT bot spamming utter crap across my game, and repot him? How is it so much harder to implement then your horrible "report him" feature?

Agreed, I really would love to have the ability to hide the quests I don't want to see up. It does get annoying!
Let's hope one day we grab their attention and they realize they need to add this in the game asap!
keep posting, guys! maybe if we can get this topic to 30 pages or so we can get some love from SE?
I don't think we really need an option to hide quests. You can always abandon them and pick them back up later if you really they are really impossible to complete. The "prioritize this quest" was actually quite needed unless you wanted to open up your journal constantly just to see the quest you were working on at that particular moment. Hiding the quest altogether is unnecessary fluff, and since the dev team has more important tasks to work on, I don't see this getting much attention (esp. since the needed "prioritize" option took months before they realized it was important, or re-implemented it).
Abandoning the quest to pick it up later causes the following problem:
Guy A abandons Ramuh Ex quest
Guy B: Hey, A, wanna kill Ramuh Ex? we're short a healz, come fast
Guy A: Sure! *accepts party invitation*
15 minutes later...
Guy B: Hey, this was fun, wanna follow up with shiva?
Guy A: Sure! it just opened for m... D'OH!!!!!!!
The real problem lies with the extreme primals quests. They can sit there for MONTHS, and you never know when the opportunity will arise for you to complete them. Not to mention it'd be a pain having to go to Vesper Bay to get the quest every time you think of going there. Even more then the pain of having it permanently imprinted on your tracker.
