I'm in a pretty big FC but it seems like I should join an additional endgame LS too. I just wanted to point out that I'm not "pro" at this game or anything. I just want the chance to learn and get better without you know... committing my entire life to that goal?

Big and usefull are two different things. If you have 200 members and nobody plays together it's not a Free company it's a glorified LS chat.

Yeah, you actually have a good point in that they should remove the bottle neck for Shiva that is Ramuh and Moogle - those fights are a pain to throw together and require coordination. Shiva is, like, 10 times easier to PUG than those fights.

My advice, honestly, would be to just buy the clears, or join a linkshell and start doing favors for people. This is coming from a standpoint of: it is going to take you an extraordinary amount of time to learn the fights to the point that you will be able to have them on farm. That is a function of the fact that no one is doing them at all anymore, so, like you said, it will be hard to find other people that want to accomplish the same thing as you. While, yeah, its going to kind of suck to skip those fights, they are not very fun and the time you put in probably won't be worth the reward, imo.

It would probably cost you like 2mil to buy it knowing what I know about Balmung's mercs.

Sadly, a lot of content in thid game is unmanageable/really rough without a static/FC/good friends. I've dfd everything up to T8, but at that's as far as it goes. I made some decent friends at T9 and eventually got a static, and now I'm currently raiding T13.

For any further content from T8, you need to be connected to progress. If not a static, try finding a FC/raiding LS to get some good people to hook up with.

You can arrange practice parties on PF, but that may take some time. It's better just finding people to generally play with.

I cleared Mog Ex on DF, same with Shiva Ex recently, since all the clear parties I set up in PF essentially had no one joining. Ramuh I cleared with people from my FC and some people from PF.

I think people generally skip T8 and jump straight into T9 now, hence the lack of any parties except farm ones.

I'm not sure if we could be online at the same time, but I could definitely help you out if I spot your PF

Seems we're on the same server. I've gotten past Mog EX and Ramuh EX but I know your pain! I'm just starting into Second Coil and because of my awkward work schedule static groups are pretty much a non-starter for me.

That said, if you ever see Shiloh Caraway online feel free to send a hello! I'm always happy to lend a helping hand whenever I can. Joining a couple of Linkshells is also a really good thing, especially if you can find a couple of the 'Helping' ones.

I know the pain man. Had to buy mog EX. Sad reality is that most ppl suck at it, and never wanna go back to it once they got their clear. Friends even are very reluctant to help with mog.

Hard to believe SE still have mog as gateway to current content ( shiva ). Sad.

Hmmm I actually pugged all content till T9 and shiva because i was kinda "way ahead" of my static/friends aka more determined in raiding. It took me a while but I cleared all content when it was still recent. Then made a "blind run pact" with my static so the rushing ahead is no longer possible because we learn and figure out the fights from 0 with out guides... Shiva done T9 done currently T10 last phase (we are casual and have bad luck with DCs) but except for "Don't use DF and expect a clear" and "Try to find stable players you can hook up and rely on" I canot give you any advice.
If people invite you to a linkshell try to accept it and decide for your own if its helpful or you rather quit.
Make friend have fun, set up own partyfinders and there you also need to be able to be "cold hearted" and kick someone if he holds the team back. Those decisions need to be made to progress.... Good luck and take the help of people that offer here
