Steps:
1) Switch to BLM 50.
2) Equip Stardust Rod Novus with no glamour.
3) Unsheathe weapon.
4) Glow effect activates with spherical yellow glow located above and outside of physical orb portion of weapon head.

The change that occurred after Patch 2.5 is obvious in comparison screenshots. Prior to 2.5, the spherical yellow glow was barely discernable from the physical orb because it seemed to appear inside the weapon head. After the patch, the glow is very obvious floating above the weapon.

I can confirm this. I got my Stardust Rod Novus a few weeks back and noticed the same thing. This has to be a bug...

Wait, it's not supposed to do that? I started getting my zodiac drops and thought it looked weird, but it was just so long I thought it was me, and this is happening with animus as well
