Farmed for 2 1/2 months to get the bow. Lost three rolls to newbies that were literally dead for most of the fight. I lost track on how many times I’ve beaten her.

I saw more ponies drop than that damn bow.

Hmmm, we've had issues with the NIN weapons and the PLD sword dropping all the time. Aiming bracelet too all the time. We've seen all her weapons with about the same frequency except for the ones I mentioned. We see those all the time. That being said, more than ten canes have dropped to the ground. :/ If T9 still weren't a beast, I'd suggest that one because its stats are nicer.

Don't feel bad OP. I have >80 wins on Shiva and have never seen the Bow nor the pony drop ever. It's becoming harder and harder to continue playing this game when RNG screws you over around every corner. You put in countless hours of work and dedication and have little to show for it day after day.

Kinda reminds me of Big Fishing. When targeting a big fish, I'd get into a routine. I'd go and fish at the correct time and spot, not because I expect to catch the fish, but just because fishing is what I do at that time and place. Then, one day, out of the blue, I'd catch it, and go, "huh." Then on to the next fish!

Don't fight Shiva with the expectation that you're going to get a drop. Fight Shiva, because fighting Shiva is just what you do at 7:00 (or whenever it is that you fight Shiva). Then one day, out of the blue, you'll win the cane. And go, "huh."

RNG is RNG... I seen all weapons dropped multiple times, even got 2nd WHM weapon for my retainer.
