    Triple Triad Accession Bug

    Good day folks!

I'm writing this post to talk about Triple Triads Accession rule.
I've been farming the Empire dude in Mor Dhona for 7+ hours and I'm using an Empire themed deck with ( Ultima, Livia, Rhitahtyn ) with only 2 Beast man ( Bugal Ja and Mutamix ) to fully use the Accessions advantage against the Empire dude.

Sadly I noticed that my Ultima with a 9+5 can't take over a Bahamut's 9+1 and it's not only on this example. There are many times when I can't take over a card with my bonus points even if I should.

It's so worse that my Livia with a 7+x can't take over another Livia's 4+x.

I've been trying many methods but in all of them I always find myself in a situation where my cards can't take over, even if they should ...

Can any mod shed some light to this please ?

    Many thanks in advance

There was a post made regarding this earlier. This is infact not a bug and it is how the Triple Triad card game is made. Even though the card may seem it should be flipped, the max number on the card is A, which is 10. The card can't reach higher than 10 points, so therefor, if one card is 5+5 and the other is 6+5. Both card will cancel each other out. which mean is not flipped.

First of all it's called Ascension.. (because the ranks of cards that share the same type ascend, or are risen each time played.)

    This isn't a bug.

Go with a full Beastman deck (or Garlean if you have 60+ cards) so each time you or your opponent plays one, the others in your pool slowly grow. (The npc you're referring to's named Indolent Imperial whom does play a few Beastman cards along with his Garleans)

    I'm currently at 47 cards so couldn't go Garlean, but you can make a very effective Beastman deck already at 30 cards (unlocking the first rank restriction on your deck);
My deck, and pardon if even remembering these right was like this:
Amaljaa, Frixio, Memeroon, Ixali, and Mutamix works 95% of the time for me.

There are other decks out there that i'm sure are closer to 100%.

Maybe you just need to collect more cards before you can effectively get consistent wins against this guy.
Def not a bug tho! ^^

Ah gotcha, thank you! My bad >_<
so yes, a rating equal to 10 or A can't be beaten.. guess that's how it's meant to be.

    Unless... Fallen Ace..
(hypothetically as a sidenote I wonder if, say, a 5 ascended by 5 or more would be equal to an A (ace) which could fall to a 1.. nvm lol too much TT!!)
