too many clicks to start a race

I think it takes way too many clicks to start a race, especially if you use a controller.
"Learn about chocobo racing" might as well be folded into the next menu. Random course should be the first choice, so you don't have to scroll down for it and lazy button mashers don't just select Sagolii Road.
Why is the default for the final question on No, so you have to scroll over to Yes? And if you're lucky you're told all races are full after all this clicking.
Finally why does auto skip of cut scenes doesn't work for the races? After a while it gets annoying having to sit there and wait for for other players.

Agree with all, especially Random. Random should absolutely be the first choice.
