Are people really complaining because they can't beat NPCs with the starter deck? Get more cards, I was able to win more than I lost with under 60 cards. I don't see why you people feel you should be able to beat one of the more difficult NPCs without investing time in building your deck. If you can't beat him or lack the motivation to beat him, then you don't deserve the Odin card in my opinion. If you keep playing this game in terms of brute force strategy (aka higher numbers = win) you really don't grasp the concepts of TT. There are plenty of ways to play the board to your advantage and bait Landanel's stronger cards.

Seriously it's only two NPCs people, and Rowena is the only who has a card that you can't get by other means (and drop rate seems higher than normal for a five star on both). Try farming Urth's Fount in Duty Finder and then come back and tell me Landanel is "too hard" or "too cheap".

For the average player farming Urth's Fount will be easier then farming Landanel.
You can't really bait NPCs with the random rule, because typically your cards will be much worse, whereas their cards have 2/3 sides you can't flip.

Also, the ''got more cards'' excuse is pretty dumb, because you need 60 cards to get a decent chance at winning against the stronger NPCs. And ironically to do that you will need most of their cards.

Odin is incredibly easy. Are you saying you have a hard time with him? Because certainly people can get the card from Odin way faster than through TT.

Anyway, this is just ridiculous. Random NPCs are still annoying to people who have 30 or 60 cards. Sure, you have a chance to get good cards now, but in matches where you get all 1 stars, it's probably not going to happen.

This isn't even about skill anymore. It's about that the NPC has million times better cards than you, as they always have good cards, and many times you have just junk. Luck != skill, sorry.
