Not very much time has passed since Triple Triad made it's glorious release, and it’s quite possible that the random rule feels a bit more difficult due to the fact that players do not have enough cards just yet.

Grekumah, please log in to FFXIV (using 30 or 60 cards) and go fight Landenel. Once you do that then please come back and tell us if you really think that the random rule "feels a bit difficult due to not having enough cards".
