Yes, you cannot curbstomp 2 npcs on day one of playing cards.

Get over yourselves and come back to these guys when you have 60 cards. Landenel only needs to be beaten once to count towards your Squall card (you can also opt to skip him entirely) and both cards he drops are obtainable through other means. Rowena does have an exclusive card, but is still farmable with even a 2-star deck.

Are the rules broken? Yes, to create a measure of difficulty and give you incentive to work towards 60 cards. Neither of these NPCs hold you back from either the Squall card achievement nor the 60 card unlock on your 3-star cards.

    Shut up and play cards.
That is incorrect. You will find it nigh impossible to hit 60 cards without beating the 2 NPCs in question. 1 Has a unique card, and the other cards are rather difficult to obtain from their other sourcse. (mostly due to RNG)

Especially when you have 63 cards and unlocked 3 star unlimited.
Since you don't seem to understand how the rules of the game work,
here is a video for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkuzTXPvAPs
Tell us if there is anything you don't understand yet about the game after watching that, and we will be happy to help you learn to understand TT.

I can understand that. In my case I could defeat both NPCs earlier on, get their cards without too much of a problem. (in case of Rowenda due to a lucky drop) But regardless I would have continued playing untill I won anyway.
For anyone that doesnt spend an enormous amount of time on the game like myself or a number of others; it's understandable they would become incredibly frustrated with the rule.
It's pretty much for them that I was trying to make my point.

The only thing that personally annoys me about TT is that the Nanamo card isnt a drop, but bought for a ridiculous amount of MGP. :P
