    Forfeit option for TT

Greetings devs! First of all, great job with the new patch. It is so much fun! I want to make a suggestion for a feature I feel is necessary and was overlooked in the development of TT.

An option to forfeit my game.

There is a huge increase in queues timing out in duty finder. I can easily spend 15-20 minutes with a string of players timing out of their duty finder queue. I believe this is due to how the triple triad game was implemented with no option allowing players to quickly exit an existing game. If the df queue pops just after a game is accepted there is no way a player can place their cards quickly enough to accept the queue. This is particularly true if they enter into a sudden death match which prolongs the game. There should be an option to forfeit the game to allow players to accept their queue as the lack of this feature is having a negative impact on player game play.

Thank you for reading my suggestion.

I think the timeouts in the DF is a long standing issue from long before this patch, however I do think a forfeit option should be implemented, at the cost of any reward normally awarded for completing a match (not even loss rewards).

For people playing against NPC's, they can quickly put down all of their cards within a couple of seconds. Against players, however, games often end far too late even if you explain the situation to the opponent.

As for the no reward stimulation, I see draw and loss rewards to be the "good try" rewards of the game. You didn't win but you did your best. As such, I think one should only be entitled to such rewards if they complete the game set out before them.

I really NEED a Withdraw button right now. Even if it counts as Losing, I don't care.

I was currently trying to farm King Moggle duty while fighting the Indolent Imperial, and the Ascension animation makes the match just a couple seconds too long for me to catch the queue when it pops during the Deck Selection screen (from which you cannot withdraw). No matter how fast I went and how I didn't even care where I'd place my cards, I wouldn't make it in time to hit the queue pop.

I missed three runs (not in a row) because of this and now I'm sitting on the 30 minutes penalty. This really needs to be addressed!

And again... Apparently once your 30 minutes penalty expires, losing just one queue (not in a row with the previously lost queues) will result in a new penalty. -.-

While I agree this can be frustrating, there's also a fairly obvious reason why it wasn't implemented to begin with.

Against other players it can either be a way to farm MGP with friends or a way for people to rage quit when they aren't winning, depending on whether it gives any MGP or not.

Maybe only allow the option to forefit against NPC opponents? The real problem is when you're in a match with ascension/descension rule, plus/same with lots of combos, or a sudden death match. They take longer than other matches because of the animations and the sudden death. And I agree with the others - no payout at all for a forefit. It's the definition of the word.

I agree with allowing the forfeit option for NPC opponents. Simply because of NPCs like Rowena and Landenel who use the Random rule. If I get all 1-star cards, there's no way I can win against them.

A problem with not allowing it against other players however is that other players tend to be quite slow even if you tell them you need to get out of a match quickly for DF. Many will still try to win the match while you're hurriedly slamming down random cards wherever there's a space. Maybe you shouldn't play at all while waiting for the DF to pop, but sometimes that queue just never seems to get anywhere unless you do something...

Just have the 'forfeit' option cause the player that forfeits to give up even more MGP then, or have a forfeiting player be unable to play any more matches for 30 minutes, exactly like the DF lockout. I don't care what penalties they apply to forfeiting to prevent abuse, SOMETHING needs to be done to allow players to get out of matches if a DF queue pops.

    /agrees wholeheartedly
Especially with the Sudden Death rule + DF queue pops.
Only while playing against an npc though!
