X-thousand points for one item and the mini game jackpot is... 5-points? O_o

Ok is it just me or is stuff in this place ridiculously expensive? O_o

All I want is that friggen aesthetician book but It's 8 frigging thousand points!!!

And "working with what you get" in triple triad with out already having bought a ridiculous amount of cards is like trying to solo an S-Rank elite mark as a Crafter. Honestly 2k for ONE guaranteed 2+ rank and 520 for a 1 star pack with only ONE CARD IN IT?

I get they want to keep this going for a long time but honestly shouldn't it be possible to at least get more points per game by making a higher bet? Like put 3 points in and make it 5, 7, and 10 instead of 1,3,and 5? Could even make the difficulty harder by increasing the bet.

but honestly this stuff is obscenely expensive. What the hell Devs?

try to do the GATEs, you can net up to 480 if you complete it (max I've seen). also be sure to buy up to the 500MGP you can get, its not much but better than starting from 0. try your hand at the daily Cactpot for a chance to win up to 10kMGP, as well as the Jumbo Cactpot that you might be able to get 1milMGP. aside from these Chocobo Races, PvP Triple Triad(til you exhaust the 180/win), and NPC Triple Triad are the only real good ways to do it. Stay away from the minigames, you'll earn no more than 15 on a win there if you're lucky(go ahead and use your free vouchers, though, just don't actually use MGP)

So using the "Punch-a-Cur" game (Which I actually like playing more for the lulz than anything) to get to 1 million creds is like trying to win 100M on the penny slots at the vegas air port. In short, it's not that you cant but there are plenty of better ways.

Pretty much, though hey, if you WANT to sit there beating Greg's face purple and blue feel free. It's just by far one of the slowest ways to get MGP.

Well that's exactly how I like to vent my frustration. I finally have an outlet for my "Nerd Rage" through the repetitive bruising of Greg's face. The MGP is just a bonus. lol

Mini-cactpot is fantastic on my second one I got the 6 = 10,000 mgp. Work out how to do your mini-cactpot and you should have your hairstyle in no time.

I would've gotten the 10,000 MPG on Mini-Cactpot if I went with my gut instinct, but didn't. There was a row where I uncovered a 3 and a 2. I was thinking that if there is a 1 in the blank, I could get 6. I went with the 2 and two blank spaces and I was right the 1st time. The 1 was with the 3 & 2. Dang!

Just so you know, the mini cactpot is much like sudoku. There are 9 numbers and they each only come up once. If you already uncovered the 3 (that is absolutely essential for the 6, you can't get it without it), the only choice you really had was to go with your gut if you were trying for the 6. The other line the 2 was on couldn't have possibly given you it even if the 1 was on that line because the final number even at it's lowest would have to be a 4 and a 7 pays out pittance, you'd be better off going for a high number instead.

Wait, if that's true then my card counting skills could help me out. If there are only numbers 1-9 and each only appear once (Why didn't I notice this) then if I pick certain tiles I could reasonably predict the outcome of the remaining ones.

Yep, that's how you play the game ^_^

Just remember that not every prize is available on every card (the 6 is particularly elusive, combinations like the worthless 1-2-4 are the bane of many scratchers >_< ) and any of the remaining 5 numbers (not counting the free first number and the 3 you scratch) could be anywhere on the card with equal chance.

Generally, if you don't think you can get the 6, it's often best to go for one of the really high numbers like a total of 22-24. They tend to be slightly easier to find at least.
