Will we ever get custom titles we can use that are similar to chocobo names?

I do like the idea of the name generator for chocobos, but I was thinking it would actually be pretty cool if the game allowed us to create our own custom title to use as well with this same feature.

This is more like a suggestion rather than a question, I guess, but I'd love to hear feedback about this idea and see what the rest of you think. Maybe this can reach the dev team and they can pass it along to Yoshi-P to answer while he's at the next event, haha.

I actually use the "Treasure Hunter" title most of the time because it fits my character image, even though I don't RP. It's just from digging up Peisteskin Maps, but I think it looks cool on my nameplate. (Using "Z" for the coming week just because oohlookshiny, but I'll switch back soon enough.)

I feel like most of the 2.0 titles don't have the same feel as the 1.0 titles, which are just cool even if you don't know which cheevo they're from. Most of the 2.0 titles are just "look at me, I did X," though they are finally coming out with more versatile titles than the initial mail-merged batch.

I agree "Uranus Destroyer' as a custom title wouldn't really help knowing it.

I wished they made the title system like monster hunter's guild card titles.

"_(word 1)_" "_(letter or symbol)_" "_(word 2)_"

I.e
"Golden" "¥" "gambler"
"Lazy" "7" "gambler"
"Crazy" "_" "icebreaker"

So the 3rd title will always be the
"Achievement title".
Cuz it kinda feels lame when everyone around u is <gambler>

I'm not saying they should do away with the achievement titles, lol. I'm just saying they should add custom titles as an option for those that want to create their own title by using a list of presets.

I was thinking the same thing too; but in order to prevent lewd titles perhaps they can limit the choice of words to be of the same language than the current mix-match of chocobo

No, but going seriously, I don't think it is a good idea to allow own-made tittles, the tittles are there for something after all...Perhaps it'd be acceptable if we could clearly difference between a own-made tittle and a preset one... for example, someone with own-made one would look like 'The Final Witness' and we know its lame, while someone with original tittles would look like << The Final Witness >>

So, I mean, add only a ' to own-made tittles, while adding something else to originals for making the distinction, [+] Super Miner [+]
