    Selling cards for MGP

So, I've been farming WoD for Sabatons of Fending for 2 weeks now, ~5 runs a day, and I managed to get two of these cards today. Figured I'd turn the second one in thinking, "What a lucky haul!". Only, I find the exchange rate is total crap.

    LITERALLY WHY

Exchange rate on EVERYTHING in the game is bad, not just TT cards. Ever buy a piece of armor or some crating mats from an NPC vendor only to find out it was the wrong one, and then selling it back for next to nothing? Tis how it works sadly.

The annoying thing though is with Armour it's all dealt with in Gil, MGP isn't player controlled so they could've offered more per sold card, especially when you buy a gold card for 2.1k and getting a dupe... with nothing else to do but sell it for an extremely tiny fraction of what you just paid seconds prior...

I'm just happy they let you trade them in at all.

Many NPCs are easy to beat, if not outright farmable. NPCs also drop cards that you can trade in, and with them being easy to beat and their also having good cards to stack up on, it'd be way too easy of an MGP source to rely on. Indolent Soldier, for example, will cause most people that choose to farm for a Gaius card to have almost full stacks of Livia and Rhit cards (2 star), and at least 40 Nero cards (3 star), in their venture. That'd be one hell of an MGP source, given that he's considered one of the best means to farm for MGP just from the ease of wins alone. The Livia and Rhit cards NPC for 10 each, and Nero for 50 (just like Godbert). Given the ranking of the Legendary character cards, that's still a pretty damn significant jump in value for sale. Especially when you consider the fact that many of those cards are obtained from things people would likely do anyway (like WoD), compared to other randomly rewarded goods like the Onion Knight minion or the housing mats from CT/ST.

Two things to keep in mind:
    1. You didn't recieve that card for any financial investment. It was a freebie. your investment was 0.
    2. Once you already have one, you literally have no use for a second one besides turning it into MGP.

So what do you say to those who spent upwards of 20k MGP on gold packs getting RNG-dupes each time and getting back about... 100MGP.

I say working as intended. Their needs to be some artificial grind to last till 3.0 I bought about 50 gold packs before i got a first non dublicate card. That's over 100k MGP wasted in Gold Packs alone before getting anything of value to me. Silver Packs I've wasted about that much aswell and still don't have the complete silver set.

Yeah, seriously. I really don't think people understand the concept of a casino or that anything left up to chance is a "gamble", where "gambling" often means you're taking to chance on LOSING something... often by significant amounts to make the gamble worth the risk.
