Times should always be indicated properly. Everywhere. Whether it's server time or local time or whatever else. It can get way too confusing, with all the timezones and different reset times and everything else. :/

I hope they fix this problem quicker than they did a previous timezone bug. It was months that the game told everyone worldwide that supply/provision missions would reset at a local time that was only accurate in Japan and areas that share Japan's timezone. We ended up just all having to learn what time it actually reset in our local time and ignoring what the game told us. I guess those affected by this latest bug will have to do the same, just learning the actual time and ignoring the one the game tells you.

I'm a Brisbanite (GMT+10, never have DST) playing on PC with all local settings correct and the NPC told me the incorrect time of 5am. 4am is when it was drawn.
Really am hoping that they fix this. Also hoping we can get some actual timers for it. After I bought my ticket, all the GS interface would tell me was that we were waiting for results (with no time frame stated at all), and that was for several days straight. Same for the mini, it'll tell me if I bought one yet that day or not but that's all.
Something a little more specific would've been appreciated, especially for a week long "set it and forget it" system like Jumbo.

It seem general consensus that it was drawn an hour early. I'm curious as to why.
It's apparently a bug in the PC version of the software, where it tries (and in this case fails) to adjust the time to match your local timezone. The drawing itself occurred when it was intended to. The time matched the patch notes, and matched what a lot of players' systems were showing. It's just that some other players' systems were displaying it an hour off.
From the patch notes:
Elemental:
Every Saturday at 4:00 a.m. (PST) / 5:00 a.m. (PDT)
Gaia:
Every Saturday at 4:00 a.m. (PST) / 5:00 a.m. (PDT)
Mana:
Every Saturday at 4:00 a.m. (PST) / 5:00 a.m. (PDT)
Aether:
Every Saturday at 6:00 p.m. (PST) / 7:00 p.m. (PDT)
Primal:
Every Saturday at 6:00 p.m. (PST) / 7:00 p.m. (PDT)
Chaos:
Every Saturday at 11:00 a.m. (PST) / 12:00 p.m. (PDT)

Nope, according to a time converter, Chaos = 5am my time but it was drawn at 4.It's apparently a bug in the PC version of the software, where it tries (and in this case fails) to adjust the time to match your local timezone. I am in Europe and logged in "my Sunday" morning. Went to collect my winnings and got early bird special ^.^ It was at 10am in Germany. Ended up with 1700 or so MGP for matching the last number, ending up as #4 winner. That was pretty cool. Not sure how my time matches up to early bird, but it did. Going to do again this Sunday to see if the time matches up.

GMT time sucks. Its like 3am!
Does the early bird bonus pop if you collect your ticket after an hour its drawn? Or if you buy a ticket an hour after its drawn?
Missing out either way with it being so late at night
There must be two different timing issues, then. On Coeurl (and presumably the other Aether and Primal worlds) the drawing was supposed to be at 6pm Pacific, 9pm Eastern, and that's when it was. But some players' systems had displayed the drawing time as being an hour later, at 7pm Pacific 10pm Eastern. That part was a software bug (and one that affected some platforms but not others).
It doesn't matter when you buy your ticket. You have an entire week in which to do that part. The early bird bonus is based on when you collect your winnings. Though you can collect the main part of your winnings any time within the next week after the drawing takes place, you only get the early bird bonus if you do so between the time of the drawing and one hour later.
