Early Cactpot? What time zone is the drawing?

My sever seems a bit confused as to what the cactpot is running on. The game is telling me it "Draws every Saturday at 10PM"... but it was drawn at 9.

Now I live in the EST Time zone. I showed up before 10 assuming the game corrected it to local like it does many times and if it was drawing at PST I'd be super early.

But it turns out neither is correct. I was about 10 minute LATE.

What time zone is this thing supposed to be running on and why isn't it communicated cleary?

It gets drawn on Server time, however when you check the board, it will tell you your local time.

It told me 8PM (Earth Time), however, it was not 8PM my time (mst), it was apparently at 7PM (mst). I ended up showing up late as well. -__-;

This is the first time I've had an issue with the local time not reflecting correctly.

It tells you clearly when you buy the ticket. The only problem would lie in if your account is not properly synced with your time zone.

The NPCs got ready for daylight savings time a few weeks too early.

Silly people.. The drawing is an hour early for those early bird specials. Notice how if you were there an hour early you got bonus MGP.

I'm also in the Eastern time zone, and the game told me all along that the drawing would be at 9pm (which it was). My first thought when someone mentioned it telling them a time an hour off was to wonder whether that player's PC/console was set to the wrong timezone, but it seems too many people have had this problem for that to be a likely reason. Surely not many players would have that set wrong.

Could it be a bug in just one platform's software making it adjust timezones incorrectly? I'm on PS4, and it worked right for me. Those of you who saw it an hour off, what platform are you on?

(Oh, and it might be worth also checking your system's timezone settings, just in case.)

I'm on PC and my system's timezone settings are correct.

Well, the NPCs in-game said 20:00 but the patch notes say Chaos data centre (which Moogle is part of) draws at 19:00. I went at 19:50 and the draw had been held so I'm thinking the NPCs are incorrect. ST and LT on my system match so that's not the problem.
