Not getting email for ps3 square Enix account

My friend is coming to ffxiv, we bought a ps3 just for her to play it. Got everything set up, but when I go on the game and do the "I don't have an account" an we put her name/email/address and such it says that they sent a confirmation code to the email. And it was about an hour, I backed out and did it again. It's been 2 hours now since the first one, and we haven't gotten any confirmation email for her. Any idea? Or anyone know how long it usually takes?

Have you checked junk and trash mail?

If she is using a gmail account I suggest she use either yahoo or hotmail or some other form of email. For some reason gmail users don't receive the email (I have recruited 3 friends in the past 2 months who tried using gmail and they didn't get anything, switched to yahoo and received immediately).

You can also email the code to yourself and then give it to her by using your email instead of hers, that's what I did.

It finally came.... 7-8 hours later, at like 3am. Which I woke up at 430 for work so now I have to do it again today and request another email. Lol
