The PvP Queue Time Mystery

I'm bringing this up after trying to queue for Duty Roulette: Frontlines.

Whilst I was waiting for entry, already queue'd up for 21 minutes, my friend decided to queue up for his respective roulette as well. 14 minutes later, he got entry and I didn't.

When he got back out of his match, he queue'd up again and he got instant-entry. Whilst my queue accumulated up to 52 minutes. Lastly, while he was doing the match, one member of his team left so there was a spot open and again I didn't get entry. I tried to queue up alternating between roles every minute and I just couldn't get in. So I gave up.

We were queue'd as the same role at first
We're in the same Grand Company
We both used 'Join in progress'
He's rank 11 while I'm rank 2

The only difference I see is the difference in rank. If someone could enlighten me as to what happened I'd be happy because at the moment I don't feel very invited to start PvP'ing if I keep getting excluded due to my rank.

yup something has been wrong with pvp queue since....forever i gonna think there is a bugs(s) somewhere because all about pvp queues makes no sense

u can queue and wait 1h ...nothing leave , rejoin and will pop in less than 5 min....something is fishy about it no doubt

Yeah has happened to me a lot. The only thing that was different was that I was pvp rank 40 and my friend pvp rank 10. And he got instapop while I had waited for 60 min.
When we queue together I get faster queuetimes.

Yeah. I did a few matches the other day.

Exact same team each time I queue'd in - knew the players by name.

They'd get in right at the start of a new match and I would not get a queue to pop until almost 2-5minutes into the round.

There is no reason that should happen...

It's really weird. One queue I did as BLM and was instant and another WHM and was forever.

Hurts my soul that when i look at the standings people have 100 games of pvp in a week and i can barely get 30 to pop

Since "Slaughter" became a thing and PVP got a Roulette, I've only been able to do 3 matches as the wait time is ENORMOUS. I always go as a WHM or PLD, too, and I'd see an FC member whom PVP's as much as I do/did land in matches more rapidly despite us both being Flames and her always going as a PLD or NIN.

It's very strange who the roulette for PVP just doesn't seem to work at all. It's honestly better just to use the duty finder on them regularly!
