thoughts on the zeta glow effects?

No one here seems happy with the sch book... I really like it! Nexus was horrible, but Last Resort has a pretty glow.

I think they did a great job with the Zeta weapons, way nicer than Nexus.

Does anyone know if its possible to get the prior Zodiac weapon from the Calamity Salvager like the original relics for glamour?
I am not really fond of the new glow & would like to keep the look of my Yoichi Bow.

If not, then make it happen SE! lol

I wasnt a big fan of the Longinus but im liking it better now with the glow. I could do without the nexus rings but its an improvement. One thing I like thats hard to capture in a photo is the black smoke swirling out of it.

SCH got shafted in general. Our zodiac is flat and boring.

I disagree. I love the SCH Zeta. Different strokes, I guess.

The Lilith Rod Zeta is pretty, BUT, the rings need to go. Replace the rings with either the Purple Flames of the Novus or the fiery flames (lol) of the Nexus. The Lines feel really out of place.
My opinions on the others...

Paladin: The sword looks odd. The glow is visibly blocked around it. The shield is fantastic. I like the black smokey flames.
War: Too plain. It's just... plain lol
Ninja: I like the glyph at the the base. Colors are cool, but it looks similar to Ragnarok—plain
Monk: The Kaiser Knuckles looked hideous, but the Zeta one improves it thankfully
Dragoon: Longinus look awesome. A mix of Bloody and Voidal resonance lol
WHM: To me it is the winner here lol. It actually looks like it transforms when you draw it.
SCH: I like the glyph around the book. Makes it look holy.
Bard: I like the glow around the bow, but the glyph is the same as the SCH book...
SMN: Horrible in my opinion. The worst of the bunch

I loved the monk nexus. Made me feel like having 2 meteors as weapon so it kinda hurt seeing the kaiser knuckles but the Zeta made it look better.


I still think we should be able to buy the skin of each step of the relic quest, so we can glamour it..

Well I vote they let us be able to buy the old Zodiac for glamour purposes.
Guess I just have to deal with ugly glow
