thoughts on the zeta glow effects?

I don't hate it. The first few upgrades Bravura got extended it's blade in an aetherial glow rahter than just being an overall shine. Seems to be similar for Ragnarok.
I checked out the dyes and you can still see the colour of your choosing through the glow without much issue.

That being said, I'm glamour overing it with the l'Cie Bardiche to complete my image. Everyone in my FC hates me for doing it, but when you look that cool you just can't give it up.

I think they're the best glows since Zenith. Awesome looking without completely overpowering the actual weapon model

Zeta Sword is superior to Nexus Sword in my opinion. But -nothing- can be the look of the Nexus Shield.



The rune ring looks amazing as does the bright cross of light in the center. Love it!

I'd rather they have the option to turn off weapon glow to all upgradable weapon's that end up having some sort of glow/effect

The Novus/Nexus weapons are WAY too bright. Thank god SE listened and mellowed it out a little on the Zetas.

I love the new glows. I'm so happy they listened to players and toned them down. Novus/Nexus were ugly as crap/gaudy as hell. These are worlds better.

Yeah I think the glow is rather nice looking but what mainly bothers me is that it doesn't goes right with the color of my blade. I'm going for the Dark knight look but a Black blade with a white glow around seems abit off for me. I wouldn't mind if they make the glow dye able or reflect the colour of the weapon.

SCH got shafted in general. Our zodiac is flat and boring. Our glow is obnoxious for said book. Our Dreadwyrm is the least interesting of all the Dreadwyrm weapons; even the HA had something going on with the red glow and black pages.
