Chocobo Racing - Clipping Through Chests

Sometimes when racing I'll clearly be inside the hitbox of a chest and not get the item, I'll just clip right through it and nothing happens. Othertimes I'll be very wide of a chest and get it. Sometimes that's useful, like when I'm angling in to grab it later than I should, and sometimes it's bad, when I'm trying to dodge but I guess I didn't dodge enough.

It's just strange that sometimes I'm right on it and nothing happens, and sometimes I'm off to the side and I get anyway. It's frustrating when it means missing the sprint on the last leg or stamina tablet that costs you the race.

Some of the other people I race with are also having this issue and I was looking to see if anyone else has similar problems.

I'm assuming its a desync issue; I've noticed it not just with chests but certain items (like Briars) as well, sometimes I'm far away and still get hit, others I'm just on the edge of the item's aoe and I don't get hit by it. I've also managed to heavy/bachuss someone once or twice just after I pass them.

The amount of times I've absolutely needed a chest and just clipped through it though...
The rage was unreal.
