I would like to suggest allowing for a secondary equipment rule. Currently we have gearset restrictions on some gear, such as tanks only, disciple of war only, or locked to specific jobs. Now, I realize that some of this stuff is meant to be only for those jobs, such as the artifact gear. (I do believe artifact needs to stay locked) But here are some examples of what I mean.

The foestrikers set, not dyable, yet we have the version that IS but it's only equippable by bards. How about it stays a Bard piece due to the stats, yet a secondary glamour rule exists to allow it to be applied to the image of other job's gearsets since glamour doesn't share stats.

The new Golden Saucer weapons. The BLM staff and WHM staff are both pretty much just vanity weapons. Both have similar models being that they are 2 handed. Maybe just allow for glamour only WHM's and BLM's to swap those weapons.

I know this was also already brought up but most of the generic pieces such as sabatons and gauntlets for tanks. I believe SE had a reasoning behind this being that they wanted the looks of roles to be more identifiable and not have mages running around with tank armor. I don't really agree with this. Considering the types of fights we find ourselves in, why wouldn't we want to armor up a little bit? The only sabatons I can think of for mages are the white mage soldiery legs. I'm only suggesting the crafted gears at this point. Not tome and dungeon gear exactly.

Aside from my half awake rambling and probably poor grammar and typing, Why not just let us glamour more of this stuff across jobs/classes if stats aren't even traded over? Certainly more customization isn't a bad thing.

.....and while i have a thread open, how about a 'try on' for hairstyles now that they are available as a vendor item. Spent 8k seals on the ponytail and hated it. lol
