NPC's in Chocobo Racing. Why?

It's fairly easy to form a party for races. Especially now since it's a big thing.

My Chocobo is now in 5th generation, Cant tell you stats cause its being covered at the moment, But as i was ranking up my 4th generation, I was Racing in the R 121-160 by myself. There is no way id ever get a que for a race if there werent NPC's so It is a Absolute must. Don't know how many weeks id have to wait for casuals to catch up just to Race 1 time

even if they added the option, i see people doing one race and then never looking back. cue, wait 15-20 mins for all 8 people to finally register together, and then do a 2 min race where one OP racer kills everyone.

we have the option all ready its called party finder, and open race bracket.

I guess I wouldn't mind an option for "players only" races, but I like racing against the NPCS as well as players.

I really enjoy having NPCs in races. There are times where I don't know how long I'll be on, so I don't want to wait for a party which can take a while. Also I might get up and leave for a short while, and if you're in a party or waiting on one you can't just get up and go. I cannot express how much I enjoy that I have to wait no more than 30 seconds to get in a race. With as many as I want to do, longer wait times add up fast.

exactly adding npcs to the races was really smart on SE end.. if was player only it would die down fast n be unfair on those newer players

It concerns me to see people saying, "It's packed! Why are they using NPCs when it's so busy?" That's really shortsighted. What happens a month from now? Two months from now? What happens when the crowds aren't necessarily there anymore?

I think SE made a good choice filling the races with NPCs, particularly because this is the only way we can level our racing chocobo. It means faster leveling and it means a consistent experience for racers who start later than others.

Absolutely. A lot of events that are user required are really hard to get into if you're not trying the first day.

they should really consider doing it for pvp aswell lol dont know how they could work it since alot more npcs are needed but would drastically decrease waiting times

I don't see how the majority of you think adding a player only Q will cause issues? There is no reason as to why the current Q and a player only Q can't both be in the game.
