It honestly makes me want to do the events less because the housing items don't affect the majority of the players, they affect FC's and personal housing owners. i'd much rather have a more unique reward which could be seen no matter where you are rather than a item for a house on which most players avoid because the wards are useless par housing.

I kinda agree with the OP... to a extent. While some of the outdoor furnishings are nice, unless your in a FC with a house or have personal housing, there's no real incentive to do these events.

Anything for the 1 %ers. Should have the blanket thingy be able to carry around and whip that thing out anytime you want to have a sit down, the beach, desert, swamp, whatever your fancy.

lol 1%ers. I have the most gil I've ever had at one time right now, just shy of 2.4mil, and I've got a small house in the Goblet. If I'm the 1%, I really feel for the rest of the game.

Same. Once I put my mind to it, saving up the money for a small house really wasn't a big deal. I get that some servers simply don't have any available housing, but a small house isn't as impossible to afford as people like to make them out to be.

Sarcasm is hard to detect. I too own my own home, think I bought it for 1.6. But I did redo the math if its correct its more like 2.3 %ers, a bit higher if you include personal rooms.

don't get me wrong, they're nice items for housing, but what use is that to the people who dont have said housing rights or a personal house.

Not all use glamour either, so really the necklace could be seen as a waste of an event as well. (I do glamour btw but the necklace isn't really appealing to me at all.)

It would have been great to have a complete outfit as a reward AND the housing items too. But remember, there are those that don't like either and would have preferred a minion...or a hairstyle or a new dance, a new emote, a new barding.... its endless and not possible to please everyone

I will always ask for as much as possible...would be crazy not to! All events seem a bit limited, I found ffxi were too.....wow as well Oo

I am thrilled with the addition of the cherry tree, not so thrilled about a necklace ,but glad its there for those that like all glamour pieces.
