Chocobo won't change plumage

I have had an issue where i will feed my chocobo and it will give the message that it needs to rest 6 hours uninterrupted. when come back 10+ hours later it never gives me the message that my chocobo is changing plumage. I have tried this 3 times already with different amounts of fruit and it still is desert yellow. As you all know fruit to dye a chocobo isn't cheap so i am posting a bug report to see if they can fix this.

It's going to change when you see the message " Your chocobo is growing new feathers". That indicates it's going to change color

Did you get the message "starts to grow new feathers"? Because this proc is needed... at times you need to feed 15+ fruits to get it once and only the amount of this message showing counts into your colouring not the amount of fruits.
