What all have you bought with mgp so far?

I've saved up a little over 6k.

I bought a bronze and silver pack. Got a sahagin guy (forgot his name..) and an ixal card.

I'm not sure exactly what I'm saving up for. I want triple triad cards but I don't want to spend all of my points for a chance at good cards!! I may just get some of the clothing sets.

It's a damn shame there are players like this. What is mindless frivolities to you, may be something amazing to someone else. A huge part of the game is getting weapons, minions, and mounts....so yeaaah.

There are some players who dislike having to spend all day in a lag filled area spamming a card dual game (Seriously... if I see anymore shouting 'du.. du.. DUEEEEELLLLL!!!!' again, I'm gonna scream) in the attempt to earn points towards glamor items. Hey, if that's your schtick, then my all means please continue. If you're playing the game just so you can get everything and brag you have it all, again, please continue to do so.

There is nothing in the Gold Saucer store which interests myself apart from maybe the Fenrir mount... but unless you get a winfall of MGP, be prepared to spend almost every waking minute of the day playing TT or spamming other events to accrue that much MGP. That kind of play does not interest me in the slightest. I'd rather spend my time farming the tomes/carboncoat/carbontwine to either purchase or upgrade what I have than stand around playing cards etc.

But hey... that's just me...

Unlike some, when I play a game such as this, I have goals I want to accomplish... not just stand around wasting time earning small amounts of currency to get things which aren't really worth the time and effort except solely for bragging rights.

You can receive these cards from playing triple triad with those characters in each of the main cities, I think it would've cost much less MGP that way. Also it's more exciting playing NPCs outside of the GS cause the rules change each match! GS TT matches are so boring T_T.
