not necessarily true. the term, "pace yourself" comes in to mind. if you start running and maintain that speed for a while. then if you come to an immediate stop, you will notice it is more difficult to breathe then it was while running. on the other hand, if you steadily slow yourself down, it will become much easier to breathe when you fully stop. but steadily slowing down requires the same amount, if not more depending on your speed, of stamina as simply slowing down.

but yeah, when it says lathered just let go of the acceleration. lather will usually go away almost the instant you let go, but not always. really wish we could put the meter more in the center of the screen.
