Here is a list of some! http://www.gameskinny.com/57ghv/ffxi...classeshttp://
I think he's requesting food that simultaneously increases Craftsmanship and Control because Housing items don't really need CP. Currently no such food exists, as far as I know. Here is a list of some! http://www.gameskinny.com/57ghv/ffxi...classeshttp://
It doesnt exist cause it would make skipping up in star ranks easier if you didnt have proper gear to do it, something SE doesnt want most likely. Less gear to grind = less play time = less people = less money ; ;Thats my only thought why it doesnt exist
You can currently use craftsmanship food and the FC In Control II buff. That's something.
Sharkfin and Chilled Popoto already allow people to skip gear if they don't mind missing out on ~30 CP. I'm pretty sure I skipped most of my Artisan main hands by making the artisan off hands instead, which is an entire token turn-in worth of content. Considering some of the 4* recipes are unlocked without even getting the Mastercraft II books I don't really see a reason to gate people into farming up a bunch of stats so they can make Nana bears and housing crap.

Because it's kinda "unfair" that only DoL's food have Gathering & Perception buff (like Eel Pie).
Best answer is that it keeps some items relatively rare, offers high end crafters niche items with which to make profit, and gives incentive to participate in the game's economy in order to get the stats required.
Of course the cost of entry was an excessive amount of time and money but it's eased quite a lot lately and I think it is at the place it should have been from the start.
There is no use for control in furniture creation, as furniture cant be HQ'd.
While there is little use for CP (due to the ease of NQ crafting), it still has some use.
Edit: Guess I misunderstood the OPs question.
Crafting high-end furniture is as much a part of being an accomplished crafter as crafting equipment is.
Personally I see no reason to be able to craft say, an Ice Chandelier; when you have no interest in playing as someone with a serious interest in crafting.
The basic furnitures; everyone can make those with only a little effort.

You don't use the Control for HQing the furniture, you use it for meeting the prerequisite required to do the craft. You are required to have 407 Control on 4* furniture regardless of it being HQable.
Also I fail to see why crafting high-end furniture has anything to do with being an accomplished crafter. All furniture, regardless of tier, requires no effort to make. The sign of being an accomplished crafter is being able to unlock the Master II Books, and none of the furniture/cosmetics require this. It's purely stat gated.
