Vanity hunter gear question

So I would like to use the mailstorm coat you get from hunts but I don't want to be in the mailstorm so I'm wondering if I join the mailstorm get the coat and then switch grand companies can I still use the coat for vanity only purposes?

Company gear can only be used while you're a member of the company.

Hey SerDakota, I know exactly what you are trying to ask. The answer is no, you cannot galmour armour from another GC and have it saved once you switch. I have tested this myself and your gear will just revert back to whatever it started out as.

In your case if you attempted this your PLD AF gear even tho it has been glamoured will still appear as PLD AF once you transfer.

Dang I figured but wanted to make so on a side note anyone know a trench coat type body piece a nin can wear I know snow outfit but can't currently get out and gamblers would take a very very long time any other options?
