    Talking What cards would YOU like to see added in?

    What cards would you like to be added in? Any specific ideas?

    Here is mine! (format I used underneath)

    I didn't want to start a thread, so i'll say i'd like to see every character monster place and item in all the ff's given a card so that every possible iteration of card exists.. with new rule sets and card classes etc etc.. i also want more gates, better choco race frame rate, the ability to stable your race choco on housing plots AND now i say what i came here to say.. i'd like there to be a setting that allows Triple Triad music to play (like the setting for choco riding specific music on/off). Whether individual settings or global for all, i'd like to be able to hear all instance specific sound effects, transitions and songs, but only have the bgm turned off.

    It'd be cool to have the s ranks and more of the coil bosses included. Bahamut's awesome but I'd like to see Phoenix, imdagud, kaliya, twintania, etc. Not gonna complain about what we do have though. I love the diversity we already have, that being said I don't know that they have themselves the freedom to expand the card list like they might have wanted to. As it is, it wouldn't take long at all to fill out all of the different ranks.

    I want a card of a certain mysterious frypan-wielding character (stats: 6 7 7 7, so she always beats a certain other card).

    Also, I think it'd be nice to have one for each dungeon/duty. A Midgardswarmer for Keeper of the Lake, a Fenrir from Snowcloak, an Igsebind from Stone Vigil (or a Watch Wyvern), a Brayflox Alltalks card from Brayflox's Longstop normal/HM, an Edda card from Tam-tara (maybe an "Edda the Adventurer" card from normal and an "Edda the Bride" card from HM?), and so on. Coil could drop various cards, either tied to the turn, or from a pool based on which third you're in: ADS, Phoenix, [plot spoiler (genderswapped villain)], Twintania, Meracydian, Dreadnaught, etc. The Bahamut card could also drop there, if it doesn't already.

    I want a special card that you can get of your own character.

    Like it doesn't have to be like really high stars or anything, just you choose which job you want it to be and that's what determines its stats, so you can kinda make a custom card out of presets that has your character and character name on it.

    I would like to see more faction cards for the garleans and primals like magitec armor, garlean foot soliders and tempered/drowned/etc. followers something to allow low level card factions. I also would like to see more factions like a iron works faction or Noah.

    Someone mentioned custom cards, so, what about a Relic card? What if there was a quest where you choose a job and get that job's relic card, only it's unfinished at the start of the quest. The unfinished version is a 3/3/3/3 * card. When you finish the quest (mostly requires running around), you get the relic card, which is a 4/3/3/3 * card (which side is which is fixed based on relic). You can then immerse the card in a vial of Thavnarian Mist to level it up to the relic card Zenith, which is a * card with 5/4/3/3 on some sides (you don't choose, it's fixed based on relic type).

    Then, you have to collect three atma (any three work), which you trade in along with the card for a relic card Atma which gets you a ** card with 6/4/4/3 on some sides (again, fixed based on the relic). [Alternatively, you could need to get three special card-atma, one per zone (La Noscea, Black Shroud, Thanalan) from playing NPCs in those regions until you get the atma. Drop rate would be on par with **** or ***** cards: bad, but not that bad, and you can farm cards while you do it.]

    Then, you buy a book from G'jusana (just one) for ~500 soldiery about the true card masters of old and how they refined their card playing techniques. The book gives you a list of things you have to do - win 5 games vs other players with double Roulette rules, beat 5 specific NPCs once each, win 5 games with specific rules in play, etc. Once you accomplish all the tasks in the book, you trade the card in with the book to get a relic card Animus, which is a ** card with 7/5/4/3 on some sides (once again fixed).

    Now, you need to get a Triple Triad Sphere Scroll, which takes 1x Superior Enchanted Ink. Using 5x Alexandrite, you infuse the scroll with 5 materia. On the scroll, you can select which side of the card you want to infuse materia to, and the type of materia is determined by the side (maybe requiring Elemental materia of four specific elements so those can have a purpose). Regardless of where you do the infusions, the first two infusions take a Grade I, the third takes a Grade II, the fourth a III, and the last one takes a IV. You can only infuse up to 4x on a given side, no side can go above 8, and you can only infuse on three of the sides. Then, when you trade in the scroll with the card, if you left two sides unmelded they both lose 1 point. If you only left one side unmelded, it loses 2 points. You now have a relic card Novus, which is a *** card with a total of 22 points between the four sides. (so, you can can have a 8/8/5/1, or 8/4/8/2, or 5/6/5/6, or 6/4/6/6, or 8/7/6/1, etc)

    Then, you soulglaze the card so it can absorb the souls of the dead energy of defeated card players, and you have to gather light. Every tier 4 NPC gives Gentle (+2) on a win (the ones that cost 25 to challenge), and tier 5 NPCs (the ones that cost 30 to challenge) give Bright (+4) per win. Certain NPCs are on bonus, which changes every two RL hours, and those NPCs give bonus light (Bright for Tier 4 NPCs, and Brilliant for Tier 5 NPCs). Your Novus must be in your deck in order for it to get light. Once you have 200 light, your card can be traded in for a relic card Nexus. The two sides with the highest numbers go up 1 each (if 6/6/6/4, the side that started lowest stays 6 and the other two go up 1), giving you a **** card with 24 total points on all sides, with no side higher than a 9.

    After that, you realize that the card has reached its limits and, as it was flawed to begin with, will never be able to truly unlock the power of the A as did the card wielded by the cardmasters of old described in the books. In order for that to happen, you're going to have to start over, this time using perfect materials. Talan sends you on a quest to craft the perfect cardstock, Adkin sends you on a quest for the perfect ink, and Papana looks at you funny, realizes you're serious, and outrageously overcharges you for a book she was planning on throwing away that has depictions of the card games of yore. Talan's quest requires you to run WP HM until you get a piece of Nymian Wood that Talan can craft into the perfect cardstock. He also asks for a Bombard Core. Adkin sends you to Amdapor Keep HM for a vial of Royal Voidsent Blood from Ferdiad, and also wants a vial of Sacred Spring Water. Papana wants you to go get some pristine dragon scales from Keeper of the Lake, along with a new Bronze Lake Crystal. Once you finish all three quests, you get your Zodiac card, which has the same numbers as the Nexus except the highest and third highest numbers increase by 1 each (9s become As), and the card is now a ***** card with a total of 26 (and can have at most one A).

    Now it's time to awaken your card to sentience! Buy 4x mahatma from Remon (one for each edge of the card), one at a time, and fill them with awareness. This is just a rehash of the Nexus stage, except each mahatma only needs 20 points of awareness. Once done, your zodiac card Zeta literally glows with power! The two highest numbers (ignoring the As) increase by 1 each, for a ***** card that has 28 points of combined stats (and can have two As).


    For reference, * cards range from 13-15 combined, ** range from 18-20 combined, *** go from 20-23 combined, **** go from 24-25, and ***** go from 27-29 (with the 29s being rather rare - just Zidane, Shantotto, Cloud, and Bahamut). No * or ** cards have anything above a 7, no *** cards have anything above an 8, and no **** cards have anything above a 9. Only ***** cards get As.

    I think SE should add 3 expandion decks.


    Crafter/Gather GM cards. They should be lv3 with 2 variant 7,6,6,4 and 7,6,5,5, also they will have the same traid like beastmans.

    Class/Job Gm Cards. Same rules that crafter and gather but Job should be Lv4.

    Race Cards, we already have one, and the people from the hotels could be the lv2 tier.
