Gold Saucer isnt over

Its been out one week, and tbh its a great place to be... TT, Chocobo Kart, Mini Games, Gates (Hate the hidden imp).

But I doubt its all, maybe we will get an update with tetra master, slot roulette (Ill pay only to play slots...) Waka Mole, Battle Square, (ilv40 or 50 fights for comical glamour weapons.)

New Archivments... get 70 cards and get arcanist weapon Card Album. (I see it more for the new 3.0 class... but still).. Naugty Magazine...

There are a lot of ideas around and is silly to ask the Dev to add all at the same patch... but maybe at 3.31 or something like that... they can update Gold Saucer. I mean... fenrir mount and cloud cards will be waiting for you...

I doubt tetra master will ever be put in this game. They brought that back in FFXI. FFXIV's card game is Triple Triad, and they'll be releasing more Triple Triad cards with future patches.

I'd like to see a solo battle arena put in the Gold Saucer, like the one from FFVII where you fight through various battles of increasing difficulty.

Would be cool if they could allow you to convert your racing Chocobo to an actual mount complete with abilities at say, Pedigree 20 or something :O

Take it a step further and have a party option too! See how well you can do with your friends with the handicaps.

I can't remember where, but I remember one of the devs mentioning that the solo battle arena was within the realm of possibility but I don't think they confirmed it.

Personally, I really want to see a Queen of Cards/Card Club-type quest for hardcore TT players and the motorcycle chase scene from FFVII.

Personally, I would not want to see that. There's already too much forced party content in the game and a serious lack of solo stuff. Why I can't wait until they implement those solo dungeons they mentioned. The closest thing you get to solo challenges are the job quests, and those are 1 time things, unlike dungeons or other things.

They already have the card club in FFXIV like FFVIII had. That's what the Gold Saucer NPCs are, except they are more difficult than the card club from FFVIII. And instead of a queen, there's a king as the top player. And like FFVIII there is no questline for Triple Triad. FFVIII's had no quests either. There was just learning how to play and getting your starter cards, then from there you seek out and play other NPCs for more cards.

Well, it is still an MMORPG. Solo content isn't exactly top priority. When it comes to Gold Saucer though, then yeah, it probably would be a solo related battle event (if not also having an option for group that would likely result in better reward yields). The place is designed around the solo player feel, with the dominant attractions and location itself having originated from single-player games.
