lol what a pointless thread.. people are going to post what they want in general discussion because it's just that.. general discussion. If you want to become a moderator you should apply for the job because at the moment I'm sure nobody cares if they have your permission to post something in general or not.

The word general essentially means that people can post about anything here, deal with it. Just like how you can make a thread acting like you're a mod, people can make a thread about the new content in 2.51.

Personally, I never bother to look at other sub forums because the majority of interesting posts, to me, happen to be in general discussion. Anything else gets posted on reddit anyways.

The Gold Saucer is only like three days old; of course people are going to be talking about it in the primary forum, and of course there's going to be people who don't even know about the subforum. I don't know why anyone expected otherwise.

It was in the DEV tracker literally on the left side of the main page.

I don't know what that even is, so I at least have never seen it.

Hmm... I'm pretty sure that we have moderators to moderate the forum, and don't really need self appointed ones issuing reminders about sub-forums. I mean, I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure we have active mods here, who are more than prepared to take people to task if they are posting out of line in some way.

Of course the movement of dozens of threads today also underscores that point.

I knew I would get a reply like this. But this is a thread about General Discussion being spammed with Gold Saucer threads.
Anyway why to post this on Gold Saucer subforum when they're posting their threads here?
