Confirmation of an egi size increase for Summoners.

There was a lot of previous discussion on this following the benchmark release but many people tried to temper speculation by saying Ifrit-egi's increased size might just be for the video. Fair enough.

We have a new screenshot (looks like a boss fight from the Great Library in Sharlayan) released from a press event:



I know some people will try to argue perspective on this one but we can triangulate the egi's relative position fairly easily since he's positioned between three characters. He's considerably taller than the female Au'Ra to the right and ever so slightly taller than the male Au'Ra positioned behind him in the screenshot. We know the males are roughly the same height as male Elezen so he's definitely considerably larger than he used to be.

I'm curious to see if Titan and Garuda received the same treatment. Would seem a little odd for only one pet to get such an upgrade...

You know, this is very naughty of whoever decided to leak these, as there's an NDA until the 28th.

Either way, you should of been able to see that Egis were larger in the Benchmark. They're not as big as the Auri, that's if the Ifrit in that image is the same Ifrit used in the Benchmark.

Like I said in my post, we saw it in the benchmark but a lot of people were hesitant to take it as proof of anything since the benchmark was a staged scenario. Since this is an actual gameplay screenshot though it's easier to draw conclusions from it.

As for an NDA I have no idea about that. These screenshots started floating around online earlier today as part of some press event, that's all I know of it. /shrug

Probably it is just me but I do not see much difference from current egi size.

Same, I'm not seeing the difference. Ifrit has always floated so his height is hard to discern.

Never happening live with the size increase its what you'll get SE already said they will not change the design.
