Anyone can attack any mob?! seriously?

They tried that claiming system from the start in the beta. It pissed everyone off because no one could level outside of leves, because douchebags would swoop in and out damage you and steal your exp.

I can see where they're trying to go with this, but at the same time I can see a number of exploits, one being douchebags coming up on a hard mob or NM and TP feeding it until it thrashes about and kills everyone and goes unclaimed.

As far as helping people who could be near death, a cure works just as well without killing their mobs for them. And there's a high possiblity of a PL exploit with this, which gives the RMT armies you see everywhere an even easier way to EXP than just spamming leves.

WoW hasnt had any trouble with this set up yet... and its been how many years? The point I'm trying to get across is "All you ppl bitching about things to come when you haven't even tried it out" It hasn't been added yet and i'm betting pulling a NM to thrash about and kill ppl wont be easy... They'll probably have despawn things in the way to deal with that... and as far as RMT using it to PL I'm gonna guess that when a high lvl runs up and kills your mob while its near 100% hp its just gonna nerf your EXP gain....

Nerfing EXP gain. Another way douchebags will be able to piss you off. There are far more bad things to come of this system than good. Also this game isn't WoW. There are generally different players with different mindsets from most WoW players. A lot of these players have come from FFXI, which is where most of the viewpoints on this system come from. What we're saying is, this system can, and probably will be abused and GMs won't be able to do squat about it because it's part of game mechanics.

In my opinion, tethering is the big issue as far as battle is concerned. While it certainly saves the unwary player from unwanted aggro, it makes actually fighting a mob a hassle (unless you're exploiting the tether to take on a mob you probably shouldn't).

You claim a mob from the start of a fight anyone who attacks it that isnt in your party cant steal claim but they can still help you kill it... Don't bitch when theres nothing to bitch about... (See WoW claim system)

Obviously you have no idea about this game, the claim system, how Nms work, or just about anything else, other than dumb animated pictures in your sig, that are annoying as hell.
Next time you want to comment, how about you say something other than "don't bitch". You know like something not so lame and 12 year oldish..

The only people ok with this are people already trying to figure out a way to abuse the system with PLs and other lame gameplay..

Just cause you think your the best and can do anything with out other ppls help doesn't mean squat... like it or Not this system will help alot of ppl avoid death and any ways to abuse the system that are there is for SE to fix.. And personally i did like the FFXI claim system a lot better then WoW.. but losing all exp and items when you "Call for help" isnt that fun.. I'd much rather having nerfed exp then none at all...

Also i happen to like my sig.. if you dont tough luck :P
