Female Amalj'aa? Where are they hiding and will we see them?

So I read this little snippet from the Amalj'aa triple triad card:


The Amalj'aa are a race of nomadic beastmen who inhabit the grasslands of Paglth'an, where they subsist by hunting the native wildlife. They share a long and bitter history of conflict with the people of Ul'dah. Trained in the arts of war from a tender age, all members of an Amalj'aa clan, old and young, male and female, are skilled warriors. They also boast a fine mastery of metallurgy, and their weapons fetch a tidy sum from those seeking arms of quality.


Female Amalj'aa were never mentioned previously and all the ones we see, fight, and talk to look and sound male while pretty much addressing each other most of the time as male. Perhaps we have an inverted Mithra on our hands?

The males and female may just look very much alike. Kobald females look much like their male counterparts.

We... we can't tell... It's like trying to figure out a lalafell without looking at their names.

It's possible that they're located closer to the heart of paglathan (that big builing on top of a cliff) raising kids/ last line of defense. Though I am sure the females that're not mothers fight in the frontlines too.

Pretty much...almost any Amalj'aa we meet could be male or female. We just cannot tell what gender they are by looks or actions alone.
EDIT: don't forget they are reptilian, not mammalian, so its unlikely the mother would really care much for her young. Children are probably raised communally, or by specific members of the tribe whose job is to teach and care for them.
