When they add more items into the cash shop, and more ways to earn MGP, I believe the prices will be nerfed. I've actually just lost interest in the entire gold saucer because it'd take too long to get a whole garment set, nevertheless the mounts.

when it comes to tournaments they will be done at certan times, that would be missed by casual players or hardcore players that are raiding, this means that if it grants a large boon of MGP, this is part of the same numbers i willingly chose not to count the extensive verible, however, if it dose grant a large bonus of MGP next to the card then i will say it is a viable sauce to grind, but until then we have to assume that they do not grant MGP and keep to the standard lists they have given us for now.I did same numbers in my head yesterday and came to same conclusion.
There has to be some hidden tier of TT/CR that give a ton more MGP that we dont know about. Currently we have no idea prizes for TT tournements and we have no idea how high the brackets go for CR. I think its to early to make to many clams on MGP production when we are only comparing numbers of the entry point of TT and CR.
Sometimes you just got to have Some fun
The point till stands. Numbers is based on TT content you could complete in first two days. If you could beat the hardest NPCs then the system wouldnt be worth doing in first place. I imagine some of the hardest NPCs could reward up wards of 500~ a win. Who knows, way to early to tell. Right now we only have a handful of intro NPCs. They could easily hot fix in more tougher ones pretty effortlessly.when it comes to tournaments they will be done at certan times, that would be missed by casual players or hardcore players that are raiding, this means that if it grants a large boon of MGP, this is part of the same numbers i willingly chose not to count the extensive verible, however, if it dose grant a large bonus of MGP next to the card then i will say it is a viable sauce to grind, but until then we have to assume that they do not grant MGP and keep to the standard lists they have given us for now.
I also have to disagree with you on tournaments. Tourny is the whole driving force for TT. Casuals are the ones who will be in tournies, not raiders. Casuals are willing to put in time for good cards and decks. Casuals who dont mind spending a weekend at a tournament vs a raid. If you ask any TT player "so do you want to get good and do well in one of the tournaments ?" I imagine you get a universal yes.
Also it a bit early to decided at what rate we will even get tournaments when zero occured so far. It might be every week or bi-weekly for all we know and SE just giving us a little time to get some decks together and learn the rule sets.
the issue with tourneyments is we only know of 2 dates of tounyments, as you have said we do not know if they will be regular or irregular or if the prizes will stay the same one day a card the next 100K map the next day GIL the next day Exclusive items.
also the strongest NPC currently will give you the prizes listed on the wall of maths on page 1, one of my friends has beaten every single NPC that is available currently, granted sooner or later they may add new npc's who can give more but for now they only give what is listed, the same price as beating the king
also to quote "If you ask any TT player "so do you want to get good and do well in one of the tournaments ?" I imagine you get a universal yes." i have herd No's due to how people who have gotten 30 + cards have rates set up to be invincible, the rules alone stopped random players from playing in La noscea, (was chaos yesterday) and players who want to play in the tournaments that i have noted from those who i was talking to (during my hype for one) agree that they MOSTLY think it is a waste of time. or would not be much fun, the only reason SOME i talked to would do the tourneyments is not for the prizes (so far, the lightning card dosnt seem to tempt meny people until they are told its numbers) but only for the achievements and the free card with it.
If TT Tournaments Grant a larger MGP prize per match it will be added to the wall of math, until then it will not be, i can only say there is NO difference with what we have been told.

1st Place in R-80 Chocobo race rewards you 117 MGP. This is somewhat moderately easy with a Pedigree 2 Chocobo. Can't imagine how high the rewards are when you're first place with a Pedigree 9 Chocobo.... R-500... 1000? 2000?
The reward will scale as you go higher and higher. I think it's important to sink your MGP into something that will get you better returns later. TT or Racing, once you pour in enough the MGP will start rolling in I suppose.

I know R-60 is 105. So 12 increase. I think I read that a Pedi2 has a 220~ stat cap so we can assume There is over R-200 already in the game. R-200 would give 189. R-300 would give 261, R-500 would give 333.
It might not be linear all the way though, for all you know it might jump. Imagine getting a Pedigree 9 Chocobo, placing last in a R500 match but still getting 50-100
I'm in R80 to R100 now with a Pedigree 2 Chocobo.. the racing obstacle mobs start AOE exploding and some even steal items from you. So challenging and exciting!
Yeah we certainly need more numbers to really chart anything out. Especially with having human players in a race increases MGP. I agree, I do CR for the fun and it just gets more and more fun.It might not be linear all the way though, for all you know it might jump. More than 1 person should be able to win each week. It's just like the old Mog Bonanza they had on FFXI.
Let's say my ticket is 1234 and that happens to be the winning number, and 5 other people also have 1234 then we all win 1st place. The only question then is whether they divide that 1+ million points evenly across all 6 winners, or if all 6 get the same 1+ million points.
Even taking that into consideration, that's a far, far chance and barely a longshot.
There's a long term goal, and then there's an insanely long term goal. There's a difference. I'd like for the place to not be a ghost town either, but in the next 4 months I expect to be done with this entire expansion and off to the next one. I don't want to be grinding out free time in this place or any other to complete older content with ridiculous prices solely because SOME players insist on complaining that they're bored after two weeks.
I finally took time to get good at dueling the king ( i suck at everyone else ironically lol )
So i usually win 3/5 battles or so that take almost under a minute each cuz i just spam the 4 corners and work my way from there. Then when GATES spawn i rush to them ( win every single one except the wind blowing one)
Got around 18k-19k in 7 hours or so. So i'd probably net myself a turtle mount after 11-12 days of farming king and gates.
Is it worth the grind? Probably not cuz the next guy over could just win the lottery and be like lel u worked for urs XD. I'll be like damnnnn u rng y u be like this.
