chocobo rating question

It's based on your Choco's level. Fresh Pedigree 1 Chocos start off at 10 I think? Goes up every time you level.

Pedigree 2 Chocos start off at 15.

so pedigree 9 + level 50(max atm) would equall 285?? i just cant figure out how we would hit 285 rating for achievement if food has no effect on ratings
