Wat. He included the Megalodon because that is what the Shark Fin Soup in FFXIV comes form.
What are you even posting about at this point? As Tiggy said: Dude. Just stop.

You mean the species that went extinct without the help of man?
Irony - the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning:
the irony of her reply, “How nice!” when I said I had to work all weekend.
But I like how you choose to prove your ignorance further by ignoring the rest of the post and trying instead to condescend to me from atop your imaginary high-horse.

The real Megalodon shark died out 2.6 million years ago.
A bit before the time when we started making soup.
I think few people here support real finning, and it's not like we do it in game either. The real world parallel on the end product doesn't have much impact on anything.
I'll break my 'rule' about leaving this thread, specifically to debunk this picture.
So let me just say, I beg to differ (especially given the Loch Ness monster quality of that image....) with this.

I think the real question is whether the shark is black and blue or white and gold.

This reminds me of when I was crabbing in san francisco pier, these chinese people caught this small spotted shark. It turned alot heads, but they took it home with them. Never understood why they did that, but it makes sense now I know better.
I don't see how this is appealing, but oh well. Food for the rich
