Fair point and agree wholeheartedly, though I'll admit my suggestion was made with the upcoming expansion in mind. My guess is if its bad now it'll be worse then, and SE will have to find ways to keep the new players in touch with the old
Want people to play tanks and healers? Try being nice to them. Some people treat them like dirt, it's no wonder people don't want to play these jobs. Was running a dungeon today, accidently hit the wrong button during a boss fight and didn't pick up the adds. Adds flocked to healer, healer dies, we wiped. Group kicked me.
I see that a lot, and it annoys the crap outta me, especially when its dd's prompting the vote as all they gotta do is 'pew pew burn'. Tanks and heals got the short end of the responsibility stick imo, as if things go wrong its never the dd's who don't avoid aoes fault, its the healers for not being able to predict stupidity, or the tanks for not 'pulling like a pro'Want people to play tanks and healers? I don't get this desire from DPS to rush through dungeons and then cry like a baby if the tank won't/can't speedrun it...I see that a lot, and it annoys the crap outta me, especially when its dd's prompting the vote as all they gotta do is 'pew pew burn'. DPS have already waited half an hour in the queue, what difference does an extra ten minutes doing the dungeon itself make?
Tanks can just laugh, go at their own pace, tell DPS to go to hell, and get an instant queue if they're votekicked.
