Please remove that ridiculous rarity rule for decks. I finally got a couple of great cards, Terra & Ulty in one drop. I was happy until I tried to add both in my deck. Now I don't give a s*** about collecting any more.

Edit: I'm always open for compromise. Perhaps make 1 & 2-star cards unlimited right from the start. If not, then I can think of better things to do than be steamrolled by cheating NPCs.

I'd really like to be allowed to play within FC and personal houses. There's really no motivation for our members to ever go indoors, I think it would be fun for everyone to come inside and play with each other.

My QoL wishlist (All controller based)-

    1) Card control: The way it works now has a lot of time wasting elements to it. It should be X to select the card, the card automatically moves to the first board space, and you can only move through the 9 spaces, and hit O to cancel and choose another. There's no reason I should be able to move my card onto the spaces of my opponents hand.

    2) Cursor placement: It would be nice if the cursor reset to the initial card in my hand after every move I make, and automatically moved to the board when I selected a card to play. being able to move the cursor around is nice during my opponent's turn (to see the card names), but during my turn, time's a-waistin', and I don't even get that long during my opponent's move to think. Which brings me to...

    3) Play timer: I get why, and understand why when you are farming for cards, it would be a benefit for the game to go fast, but when starting out, the NPC play REALLY fast EVERY turn, meaning you have less time to survey the board like you would against another person. Perhaps a slightly slower speed of NPC play with a toggle to enable "Fast Play Rules" to tell the AI whether or not to think about their moves would be nice. Then the AI could spend a slightly randomized amount of time to "consider" their moves, to simulate human play speed.

Fix random rule so it is fair vs npc's. When they pull from a pool of no more than 8 cards they ALWAYS get their high teir ones, with 35 cards (2x 5*, 2x 4*,7x 3*, rest 2* and below) I generally get decks full of 1 and 2 star cards which then make it absolutely impossible to even draw the game. Furthermore since a 3* counts as the "high value card" most of the time I will get a 3 star and then the random can only allocate 2 and 1 stars once again giving me something like ifrit and a bunch of low cards against ifrit, titan, odin and bahamut.

Atleast with random games only can't you remove the card cap so perhaps I atleast have the chance to luck into a decent hand, because currently I need to not only luck a high value card which is an 11/35 chance (4/35 if you discount 3 stars since the npc's deck is mostly 3 star anyway so it is not much of an advantage)

I played against Landenel 16 times (Random and Fallen Ace rules, he also has no aces so the rule only counts against you) 10 losses, 5 draws, 1 win. I got a 5 star card on that only win and on all the losses my highest was a 3 star card. it is completely imbalanced.

Finally the rewards for beating them are too low, with such a low chance of success for a 25 cost to play, 21 for a draw and 53 for a win when compared to playing the king in gold saucer where you profit even in a draw and he is incredibly easy compared to that.

When your farming NPC's for cards it becomes natural to get into the rhythm of spamming X through menu's, or pressing up once and hitting recommended instead of deck 5, this leads instantly into said deck being selected. A confirmation window should appear to question your decisions, maybe with a don't show again check box for those who prefer the insta-select
also make it possible to change the positions of the decks in the list

1 star cards are unlimited right from the start.

2 star cards become unlimited as soon as you collect 30 unique cards.

3 star cards become unlimited as soon as you collect 60 unique cards.

Just in case you didn't know. Your deck will open up for better possibilities you just have to work at it. As of this patch, however, you will never be able to have more than 1 4 or 5 star card in your deck at any time. But it has to be like this, because when tournament play comes around there won't be healthy competition if everyone has decks stacked with 5 5star cards lol.

There are a good many rules that would balance high value decks. The easiest to beat NPCs actually have some of the(if not -the) best decks around.

For the difficulty of viewing the MGP currency they could add it to the click-through rotation on the gil HUD element. Currently if you click on your gil on the HUD (defaults to bottom right) it switches to display your GC seals instead. It would be great if we could have MGP added to that for easy viewing when in the saucer.

Absolutely, but those rules don't balance anything out when both decks are stacked....they are there to help you beat great decks when you have crap lol.

The combined power rating on 4 and 5 star cards is much higher than 3 stars and below. If you were allowed to have 5 5star cards, every single card in your deck would have either 2 A's or 1 A/1 9, and Reverse or Fallen Ace would just make you play your cards differently, not strategize with different combinations of cards.

People would get their legendaries and work with the rules around their cards, instead of working their cards around the rules. The way TT is set up in this game is perfect, IMO. You have to choose the legendary you want to use and build a deck that complements your choice. And having access to 5 decks makes the options much more vast.

Controller usability for Triple Triad could use some work all-around.

    1. Since we have to select a card on each turn anyway, why not automatically return our cursor to our deck? That's 3 to 7 less D-pad presses right there.

    2. Analog stick cursor control would minimize button presses even further. You can't move in the middle of a Triple Triad game anyway, so the left analog stick is going to waste. I would love to use a super-fast cursor like this that gets close to emulating a mouse.

I will also join the chorus of player voices requesting a Forfeit button. Let's speed things along instead of requiring dozens of button presses / actions when a loss is guaranteed.
