Seriously? Why allow you to receive duplicated cards?

Triple Traid, my most favorite mini-game in FF forever that you collect the card by beating opinion and receive their card.

Now, I understand that as online game, they make it more difficult by making the reward rate become much lower... says instead of beating him once, you need to beat him 10-20 times to receive his reward card.... But seriously? you can receive duplicate card ever and ever too!?

Why make something like this when you are not allowed to sell/trade the card? So what should I do with the card other than discard it? Why not allow us to at least exchange them for some totem/point? I won the same NPC over and over and keep receiving the same card and I have to only discard it... It is very motivating!!

Please allow us to desynthesis the card for some rare materials at least. Or make us be able to redeem certain reward if you got too may duplicate cards. I feel no progress at all, when waste a lot of time then receive duplication.

You can redeem cards for points. A very low number of points, but you can. It's next to the tutorial NPC for triple triad.

You can sell your extra cards at the card trader next to the triple triad master in the center of the card lobby.....

Good news! This is already a feature. The vendor to the right of the Triple Triad Tutorial will offer you Gold Saucer points for duplicate cards.

Oh sorry. I didn't mean about exchanging them to the general point, since that isn't my goal. I have fun collecting cards and build my deck. I want to have a lot of cards then challenge real player opponent quickly. So the point in my description is the point where you can accumulate it and purchase the card you need.

Just like in Yugi-oh. If you keep getting so many trash cards, you can sell them, buy a booster pack where several good cards chance there.

Well the only cards you can buy are with MGP so trading them in for MGP is adding to this goal.

Also in regards to your OP in VIII you still had to farm an NPC for them to actually play the card, it doesn't work out much different.

A lot different tho. In FFVIII, I usually no need to beat the same NPC more than 10 times to get the actual specific card I want. In here, I beat the King Elemer III guy for more than 30-40 times now with the "Plus" rule. I have yet to receive any single 3 star + card from him. Not to mention specific one.

Yeah still remember to have to do some npc over and over again till they played the card I wanted in FFVIII.

I guess much less times then the people here complain about (I heard some people say thousands of times? )

Anyway I do a lot of battles already with friends, non of us have many great cards, so it is even, and that is so much more fun then having better cards. Well to me at least.
If I win easy I don't have fun at all to be honest.

That is why I love the npc battles, you really have to think into it, since they usually have much better cards. To me that is making it much more fun.

RNG is RNG, I'v yet to have to play anyone more times for a card than I had to in VIII, The difference being VIII you could get a good deck then almost guarentee constant victories, whereas you can't with XIV.

That is why I love the npc battles, you really have to think into it, since they usually have much better cards. To me that is making it much more fun.

Yeah the rare card restriction really makes the NPC battles a good enjoyable challenge, other than Rowena screw that OP bitch :P
