I kept trying, and eventually got all three cards and only ended up being down 30 from when I started.

Dodo, Mandragora, Coeurl, Slyph, and Mutamix worked for me.

Had a bit of a hard time at the beginning but i was lucky to get the cid card which also was a nice replacement for the ixal card

if those people whinging about difficulty of npcs actually took the time like you obviously do to learn tactics for each 1 then they would have 30+ cards nows.. but cause its a bit hard they prefer to whinge in forums til get changes they demand

out of 100 games i won 62, drew 32 lost 6 times (there is slight variation where he uses biggs on bottom but that winning combo is slightly harder to explain

I blundered into one possible solution, though it assumes Sezul plays first:



There shouldn't be an issue if he fields Nero instead of Godbert, though if he plays Nero early in place of the Ultima Weapon you can Plus him on the third step as well and potentially wreck his hand (or draw, on the rare occurrence he discards his Behemoth for both Nero and Godbert).

I solved this also by when he plays cid i always play mandagora middle then dodo top, it makes it so biggs never goes on bottom and still keeps the 5/2 same in the top right

So using your patters i ended up farming him for quite awhile and i replaced moogle/ixali with urianger/amaalja and wrote down alot of his patterns for ppl! here is the link
