It's an interesting strategy, but Elmer tends to mix things up a bit, so there's no one strategy that can be relied on to work every match. Also, your video relies on the player owning Godbert... which they only get by beating Elmer in the first place!

Thanks for the vid this helped me beat him on ny 1st try with the starter deck lol
Helped me kinda grasp the concept of the importance of baiting combo + etc. btw is it possible to farm a lot of MGP beating him? Cuz i need to get another 18k XD as i already bought the new hairstyle and oasis female top lol. So i spent 10.5k - the initial 500 mgp. Going for bunny ears next XD

You can get Godbert Manderville from Hab the zombie in southern thanalan as well (can only fight him if you've done the pre req quest) - just in case you didn't know.

I tried using your guide Lemuria but struggled when Elmer went first, although sometimes I still managed to win

In description I put Bomb/Godbert. Godbert and bomb are is just distractions card. (Although in few situations Godbert can be reliable)

yea you can farm him with this i got so far up to 31K (20 from jackpots so 11k from just him) i also got bahamut and godbert from him
