And the few that I have seen are the people who bum rush the game and "oh I finished everything in the game in a day and a half and there\\'s no content bla bla bla"

I logged in early this morning, downloaded the patch, unlocked MGC, unlocked a few games, attuned to the aetherite, then logged out. Now i'm suck here, at work, surfing the forums and cursing all the people able to play.

Tell you what, if its too much of a grindfest for anyone, please let me know. I will do the grind for you if you can come here and work for me today! Deal?

Think of a bell curve that covers all players, at one extreme you have players who can play for years and never get 50 in a class, and at the other you have players who complete everything within a few weeks of the release of the game, and within a few days of a major patch, and a few hours from a minor one.

Most people fit somewhere in between, and at least in my experience the distribution curve of players is a bit biased towards the players who get things done more quickly. So the bell is a little lopsided.

However, no matter how you cut it, such people as the ones you describe are statistical outliers when compared to the population as a whole.

I think the only real issue I have with TT at the moment is that you're expected to do a lot of card grinding to get to a point where half the cards you've been grinding can even be added to your deck (due to the hilariously tight early hand restrictions). And the path to do so is, at least right now, not exactly very clear - a lot of TT opponents are straight up unbeatable at low levels without certain regional rules being around to balance the field.

i think it feelalike a grind because of the limits placed on what rarity of cards we can and can't use. They feel very restricting, at least at these early stages. I'm sure I could beat most of the npcs I've encountered so far if I could just use some of the more powerful cards I've unlocked. Besides that though, it's been quite fun.

Am I the only one that thinks the prices on stuff from the Golden Saucer are insane?
All my friend playing triple triad are earning a lot... Since they actually like to play that game and actually manage to win. With games being fast and profits can be high its easy to grind some MGP. I only do chocobo racing and so far it takes a lot of time and it seems like i will have to spend all my MGP on chocofeed and breeding costs. Leaving nothing left for buying a mount or bunny ears except winning the jackpot, twice.

Bolded the parts where they are saying its a grind. Prices for rewards are high, TT is the easiest way to grind. If you want to do anything else you face even more of a grind. TT is not a fun grind if you dont like it or are not good at it.

At least thats how i read that. The rest of the thread kinda continues along that theme of wow, look at the grind for rewards.
