MP management never been a big deal for me and I main SMN and beat turns 11-12 in my static.
Just don't spam ruin 2 people. Recast time you don't got hits, just use it on the move and for the fester combo of
Ruin 1, ruin 2, fester then back to ruin 1.

Any smn worth their salt doesn't only use garuda.
Amen.
More to the point with regards to MP, you really should be on Ifrit now except for some add phases.
Ifrit is far superior now.
Before the MP adjustment, you still went OOM in virtually any FCOB fight in about 2-3mins performing optimally, of course not factoring a couple of Energy Drains to actually finish a fight. Who ballads for a SMN nowadays?MP management never been a big deal for me and I main SMN and beat turns 11-12 in my static.

It's not a no shit scenario because you already claimed what could "best Garuda", when in fact in almost all scenarios, Ifrit already does.
Only a handful of things cater to Garuda in terms of helping either your DPS or mana management. Whatever they add in, will find its place.
So in other words you sound like an idiot, since at current, each pet has their individual uses, even within the bounds of one fight like T11 or T13 where switching between Garuda and Ifrit can help your DPS depending on your party setup.

lets not get toxic.
Garuda should be used for contagion due to everyone's buffs being up + foe req etc.
Then get ifrit out as with a war his damage outweighs garuda, then when all buffs are back up and ready get a contagion back out if you can manage it.
There are times when you will need to use ruin 2 more than normal, e.g. earthshakers, towers, megaflare etc, your dps shouldnt stop just because you need to move and you can not do all your movement in those GCDs; if you can you must have too much SS.
In my opinion I would save switching out for contagion for when you can fully buff your DOTs.
Lets be real, switching from Garuda to Ifrit in a raid situation is not viable. You lose a full GCD (atleast, even more if you swiftcasted without Ruin IIing first) and waste a ton of mana.
On a more on topic note: The buff has done more for me then expected. Almost cleared T13 with 500+ DPS (unmerged), but stuff happened and the pull flopped but all signs pointed to clearing it with those numbers. Im finding myself able to actually use the good rotation again, which is nice.
There are times during raids where it is plenty viable
You should have enough MP to manage it if you make sure you use RuinII when necessary and not just use it because you cant time stutterstep etc to up mobility. There is no reason you can't use that GCD to use an offgcd skill like e4ae etc. This is only to swap them out for contagion on fully buffed DOTs, im not talking for when raging strikes comes back etc. I mean pots, foes BV'ed etc.
Don't quote numbers if you didnt actually pull those numbers sweetie xD
What made you think you were going to pull that ?
