    What you have to remember is that FCoB is the ONLY place in the game where PvE balance matters. ALL other PvE content is so mind numbingly easy that balance makes no difference. SMN is not having difficulty in ANY PvE content outside of FCoB, simply because the content is mostly designed to be completed by everyone.

    If you want to get balance in a game correct, you HAVE to balance around the most difficult content, not the easy stuff. The reason for this is simple. Player skill ranges are SO MASSIVE when it comes to other content. We all see players in CT, ST, WoD, Hard Mode dungeons, and EX primals that have no idea what they are doing. In FCoB, you need to be at least in the top 20% of player base in terms of skill to be able to complete it. Those players are the ones that are pushing character design to its limits. That is where balance matters.

    "Nottt everyone Cares about Cooill" 2% of the player base shouldnt be able to RUIN the game for the OTHER 98% of the player base. "Hard content is based on the player." FCOB is worhless now with ALex coming up. Item level 130 gear is everywhere now. The caster's gear for SMN is trash.

    Back on topic:Not everyone will EVER want/get to/be able to or be allowed to try FCOB. Planning changes to job around 1% of the game is silly. "So what!!, Smn had problems with turn???, dont use SMN on turn???. End of story. Everyone matters, not just the few playing thru coils. ( which is your own choice) Smns still must be able to fuction out fo a few turns in coil. Please come up with better ideas that help ALL SMNs everywhere not just in Raid groups. Please think of the WHOLE game instead of writting off 98% of the player base off. "You still need US to help pay for this game to stay online and get new RAIDS to play thru."

    Lol... If SMN had problems with endgame content and people switch from SMN to something else, then that is warranted for change.

    Actually, it won't be writing off 98% of the player base; if anything, it would somewhat increase the number of people who want to play SMN's cause I barely saw any in dungeon/CT content. The higher skill player base won't think SMN's are mediocre and it will maybe also affect what some people would think about the class, which is why there is a lack of SMN's. In conclusion, if it helps in endgame content, it will help them in easy content as well. So everything you're saying is pointless.

    I'm out. So, giving SMNs worthless skills that have no meaning out side of coil is you're Big idea. So,the other 98% of the players don't matter and shouldnt have any say on how to improve jobs in this game. OK. Thanks for Nothing...again. Also, what happens to ALL the other 99% of Smns who now have Raid skills whom cant,dont, dont care, are to allowed to try FCOB or any raids. Who are now stuck with broken pets, worthless skills outside of few turns in coil DO, with their now BROKEN job??

    back on topic: Ideas, to improve smn, how do you feel about the buff? I like the buff its HELPFUL and is a good start untill we see what happens in the expansion?

    Your explaintion flawed by the way because it Assume that we ALL care about COILS or Raids and will try them. Think about ALL of the Game and how to best help smns.

    I've played Smn since day 1. The most imporant thing here is "Not everyone Cares about COIL" And no one would make a game that only considers 1% of the game Itself. Thats called BAD game Design.

    Lol, why did I even bother? Forget this guy, he's like a damn brick wall and doesn't know shit about how SMNs will benefit if they get buffed because of endgame content.

    Apparently any utility or dps buffs are only usable in coil and would ruin the job for everyone else. rip.

    No, You misunderstand. I said, messing around with SMN and giving unneeed raid skills wouldnt really help smn dps and help ALL Smn everywhere with the rest of the 99% of the game. Smns have a raid helpful skill "its called battle Raise" Dont leave home without.

    This thread got taken over by people who do not understand end game performance, skills, balance practices, or anything else required to actually make these decisions. I think I am done. Here's to hoping for major changes in Heavensward. I won't be playing my SMN again if some are not made.
