I kinda agree with the OP. If the hardcore no-lifers cant progress at a reasonable rate, how long do you think the casuals are going to take progressing? This isn't like poetics cap, this is straight up grinding.

Kids these days... introduce any aspect that involves luck, and they start complaining. What happened to the olden days when people played games for the game?
I believe the RNG is mostly based on how rare the TT card is.
Ultros TT card from Dragon Neck drops plenty of times due to being only 2 stars but anything three star and higher have low drop rates.
Because kids these days would rather be in control of the game then leave it in the hands of rngesus. Like why would they put the random rule for alot of npcs but said npcs has like a 7 card pool of 3 star cards and higher but we have to pick 1 stars?
Random takes away the fun out of games.
First of all its a mini game that you do not have to play at all to advance your character. If you didn't think playing TT was fun then you wouldn't be playing it a bunch to get cards in the first place.
I'm not playing TT to get cards.
I'm playing TT because otherwise I have to win the lottery to actually get anything out of this update, and because I expected TT to be fun to play and not "Boy I hope the RNG doesn't slap me and tell me to piss off this round."
I don't know what the pay out is in racing or scratch cards, but it looks like the only decent way to grind MGP at the moment. Only 10k MGP for the glam shield.
@Zumi: I think its the fact, that it is Mini Game! Why do we have spend hourse in DF to get a card for Mini game? Its just lame. And I hope they update TT soon, cause its stupid to play against NPC who can use as many super cards as he/she wants and we just can have 1? only chance to win then is to have a good rule but I just played against Rowena and rule was "random hand" and thats it. So she always had 5 good cards and I might have luck and could have mine good card but even then it wasnt possible to beat. Thats not how it should be. I agree that atma farming is more annoying then card farming but this TT is far away from FF8 TT. I think many got disappointed.
That is just hilarious.
Well tbf TT was just as much of a grind in VIII, the difference being you got a card everytime (just not the one you wanted) in VIII, so you could refine for days.
