I still cannot log in lol.
Here to say that I'm having this problem as well. Although I was able to play for a couple of hours before I started getting massive lag spike, then 90002, then 2002 when I attempted to get back in.
I've been trying to get into this game all day. Still cannot. Very frustrating.
Day 2: still cannot log in and SE has no idea.
i Already lost the interest and excitement i had for Golden saucer(Thanks SE!).
Now i just want to login do raid and normal stuff....

Bingo!- Launcher start-up: normal
- Log-in: successful
- Update to version 2.51: successful, no complications. Launcher restarts as per usual.
- Successful start-up of game-client
- Attempt to Connect to Data Center / World content: Failed ; error [2002] ; game-client disconnects and shuts down. All FFXIV:ARR processes stop.
- User restart of Launcher: successful
- Log-in to Launcher and Game-client: successful and normal
- Attempt to Connect to Data Center / World content: Failed ; error [2002]

I wonder if I will get compensated for the time I lost on this game..
No feedback for 2 days worth of lockout from the game..
Here hoping tonight's maintenance somehow accidentally fixes this issue as well....

this is a user-to-user forum first and foremost... if you are trying to report an issue more directly to SE, should be using the bug reporting options like the support portal or the bug reporting section of the forums.
They have however responded somewhat with the announcement for tonight's maintenance. Something about an issue with players not being able to access content worlds. Perhaps it will resolve it for some of you guys. Otherwise, it could be internet stability issues along your routes to Ormuco (SE's Datacenter ISP) in Montreal ....there has been a lot of ice storms moving across the US that have been causing issues with some network segments.

Maintenance done, problem not solved. Still consistent 2002 errors, haven't been able to connect to the game at all.
Day 3: No Access.
