[Request] Add other characters on same account and server to friends list

It is annoying to have to ask a 3rd party to assist in moving resources between 2 of your own characters and I will not spin by second account back up to do this again.

Otherwise the retainer that we can pay extra for should be accessible across all characters on the same server.

granted, im paraphrasing, but SE said they dont care....similarly related issues have been brought up numerous times, and SE said they have no intention of changing it anytime soon

It's worth continuing to ask for. We're paying them extra for the right to have multiple characters on the server. We should be entitled to have those characters interact. A few possible ways might be:

1) Change the rule that says we can only send mail to Friends to say we can only send mail to Friends or alts.
2) Just automatically add all alts from the same account/same server into your Friends list.
3) Remove the restriction that a player has to be online at the same time in order to send them a Friend request. (This way we could send our alt a Friend request, log out and in again with that alt, and accept it. It would also be nice for players who want to meet up with a friend if they don't know exactly what time that friend will be logging in. They could send a request trusting that their friend will get it as soon as they're online.)

Any of these would allow us to mail stuff to our alts, and at least one or another of them should be easy enough to implement.

I wouldn't want this solution, though. If I ever do reach the point where I'd pay an extra fee every month for another retainer, then I'd want another retainer's worth of space on each character, not one split between all of them.

(Though if they set it up so each character had their own retainers, but we had the ability to summon either our own or an alt's retainers, that would be great — better than any of the Friend List / Mail solutions I listed above.)
